The CAF initiative was created and launched by SECAF board members as a way to engage the contracting community in a learning environment. Two primary segments will be addressed with established experts serving as resources for commonly sought questions:
Advisors have been pre-selected and pre-qualified to serve as expert sources based on their areas of expertise, their availability to give back to the community, and their years in service. A SECAF Dispatcher will control the flow of questions and answers between the experts and member companies, with the goal of achieving a 48-hour response time for each question. The CAF steering committee consists of board members Jack Hughes, Mark Moore and Andrew Sherman, each, experts in their own disciplines concerning government contracting. The steering committee has selected a pre-qualified group of experts to be available to the CAF, who will each devote time to this community to help it grow. “We have not only been thoughtful about the types of resources we are providing for this community, but we’ve also been strategic in selecting the experts that are best suited for this role,” stated steering committee member Jack Hughes. “Our experts have made a commitment to make the CAF a success by providing counsel in the best interest of each participant. We are proud to offer such a valuable service to the growing SECAF member base.” Learn more about SECAF: SECAF |
